How it Started

Early in my career I noticed that many exceptionally qualified people interview for jobs but do not get an offer. I started thinking…what if I could help job seekers tip the odds in their favor?

My work in this area started as a volunteer. For 15+ years, I mentored graduates of Cornell University…helping them plan their careers and get jobs through coaching and mock interviews. Over the years, the word spread and more people sought me out for help. On countless evenings I helped people navigate their careers and prep for interviews.

The favors I did for Cornell alums, friends and other good people helped them get more job interviews and offers, often against big odds. Some landed roles in entirely new industries. Others ended up in CMO roles and some ultimately became CEOs. They all told me one thing: you’re so good at this you should make it a business. So I did.

Missed opportunities have happened to most of us, including myself. Interviewing biases at companies and blind spots of candidates are very real and costly. They affect lives.  We help people get more interviews, put their best foot forward and land the job of their dreams.
